Director Scott Donald
Mi. Dist. Dir. RR

Romans 14:17-19 (NLT)
For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. So then, let us aim for harmony in the church and try to build each other up.
I pray that God will bless each of you and your families in 2009 beyond all of your expectations.

I pray that you will join us as we begin to rebuild the Royal Ranger ministry to be able to reach more boys then we ever thought possible.God has placed each of us here for a time such as this.

Royal Rangers District Director Scott Donald

Husband to Dawn.

Father to Luke and Adrian (James) Hein.

Scott gave his heart and life to Jesus at a Judgment Drama @ Beaver Lake Church and has been doing all he can to serve the Lord ever since. He began in Royal Rangers as a game guy before class, and then he began working with the Pioneers, and has worked with every class except Ranger Kids.

Director Donald was asked to be the Senior Commander of Outpost 12 in Beaver Lake, and then assumed the responsibilities of Northern Sectional Commander, and then Northern Divisional Commander of the three Northern Sections.
Scott has been instrumental in the “Northern Division Spring Fling” camp held in Gaylord, as well as the new event; “Northern Division Fall Out Adventure Camp” in September also held in Gaylord. He is a dedicated Royal Ranger leader, and he is looking forward to serving the District as it’s new Director.

Today, on this first day of a new year, people are thinking about new beginnings, and changes; changes in their habits, changes in their lives, changes that will improve something.

I too am thinking about changes, and new beginnings.
Today I contemplate a new beginning for Michigan District Royal Rangers.
A new beginning that will take us ever closer to the vision of Rev. Burton Pierce and the men that helped him create Royal Rangers, and the vision of Rev. Johnnie Barns, the first National Commander of Royal Rangers.
The vision to reach, teach and keep boys for Christ.

The Royal Ranger ministry is the most important ministry in the church today as we are helping to shape the men of the future; the future Senators, CEO’s, Pastors, Ranger Commanders, fathers, husbands, and the godly men of tomorrow.

Nehemiah 2:18 (NLT)
Then I told them about how the gracious hand of God had been on me, and about my conversation with the king. They replied at once, “Yes, let’s rebuild the wall”! So they began the good work.
In this New Year, like Nehemiah; we will begin to rebuild.
We will, with the gracious hand of God upon us, reach boys with the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. We will teach them the word, we will teach them practical skills, and we will mentor them on how a godly man should live, how he should have respect for himself and others. We will keep these young men by helping them on their journey to Christlike manhood, and empowering them to become lifelong servant leaders
